1. Caner is often preceded by bad sleep.
2. Children cry day and night; sleep knee-chest position or on the back with hand above the head or right side or abdomen or Genu- pectoral position during sleep on knees with face forced into a pillow or sleep on knees and elbows.
3. Nightmares after fright.
4. Insomnia with a history of cancer in the mother or mother’s family.
5. Dream of journey, mishaps, robbers.
6. Sleepless till 1 A. M.
7. Chronic or acute insomnia without causes.
8. Sleeplessness from anticipation or anxiety, grief, mental activity, and nursing of a loved one.
9. Child must be carried or rocked to sleep.
10. Waking early or at 4 A.M.
11. Generally better from short naps.
