What are the respiratory symptoms of silicea?

1. Hoarseness, with roughness and excoriation in the larynx.
2. Cough, from cold drinks, or from speaking even for a moment.
3. Shaking cough, excited by a suffocating tickling in the pit of the throat.
4. Cough and sore throat, with expectoration of little granules like shot, which, when broken open, smell offensively (like Phosphor., excepting the latter remedy has a hot feeling in the throat.
5. Fatiguing cough, day and night, < by movement, with scanty expectoration of mucus.
6. Nocturnal, suffocating cough.
7. Spasmodic cough.
8. Hollow, spasmodic, suffocative cough from tickling in throat-pit, with expectoration only during the day of profuse yellowish-green pus, or of tough, milky, acrid mucus, at times of pale, frothy blood, generally tasting greasy and offensive-smelling.
9. Bruised pain in the chest when coughing.
10. Dry cough, with pain in the chest, as from excoriation.
11. Cough, with vomiting of mucus.
12. Profuse expectoration of transparent mucus when coughing.
13. Cough with expectoration in the day, without expectoration at night.
14. Expectoration of pus, when coughing.
15. Expectoration of (pale, frothy) blood, with a deep, hollow cough.
16. Obstructed respiration when lying on the back, or else when stooping, running, or coughing.
17. Deep, sighing respiration.
18. Shortness of breath, during light manual labor, or else when walking quickly, sometimes with dyspnśa during repose.
19. Panting, respiration, on walking quickly.
