بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ١

Allaah’s displeasure and sinful action Described in Al-Mai’dah

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَوْفُوا۟ بِٱلْعُقُودِ ۚ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُم بَهِيمَةُ ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّى ٱلصَّيْدِ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ ١

O you who believe, fulfill the contracts. The animals from the cattle have been made lawful for you, except that which shall be read over to you, provided that you do not treat hunting as lawful while you are in IHrām. Surely, Allah ordains what He wills.  ওহে মু’মিনগণ! তোমরা অঙ্গীকারসমূহ পূর্ণ কর। তোমাদের জন্য গৃহপালিত চতুস্পদ জন্তু হালাল করা হল- সেগুলো ছাড়া যেগুলোর বিবরণ তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হচ্ছে, আর ইহরাম অবস্থায় শিকার করা অবৈধ। আল্লাহ যা চান হুকুম দেন। 5:1

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُحِلُّوا۟ شَعَـٰٓئِرَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا ٱلشَّهْرَ ٱلْحَرَامَ وَلَا ٱلْهَدْىَ وَلَا ٱلْقَلَـٰٓئِدَ وَلَآ ءَآمِّينَ ٱلْبَيْتَ ٱلْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًۭا مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَٰنًۭا ۚ وَإِذَا حَلَلْتُمْ فَٱصْطَادُوا۟ ۚ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوْمٍ أَن صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ أَن تَعْتَدُوا۟ ۘ وَتَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ ٢

O you who believe, do not violate (the sanctity) of the Marks of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the sacrificial animal, nor of the garlands, nor of those proceeding to the Sacred House, seeking the grace of their Lord and (His) Pleasure. When you are out of Ihrām, you may hunt. Malice against a people for their having prevented you from Al-Masjid-ul-Harām, should not cause you to cross the limits. Help each other in righteousness and piety, and do not help each other in sin and aggression. Fear Allah. Surely, Allah is severe at punishment. ওহে মু’মিনগণ! আল্লাহর নিদর্শনাবলীর, হারাম মাসের, কা‘বায় প্রেরিত কুরবানীর পশুর এবং গলদেশে মাল্য পরিহিত পশুর অসম্মান করো না, যারা নিজ প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি লাভের উদ্দেশে পবিত্র গৃহের আশ্রয়ে চলেছে তাদেরও (অবমাননা) করো না। তোমরা যখন ইহরামমুক্ত হবে তখন শিকার করতে পার। তোমাদেরকে যারা মসজিদে হারাম থেকে বাধা প্রদান করেছিল, তাদের প্রতি শত্রুতা তোমাদেরকে যেন অবশ্যই সীমালঙ্ঘনে প্ররোচিত না করে। সৎকাজ ও তাক্বওয়ার ব্যাপারে তোমরা পরস্পরকে সহযোগিতা কর, পাপ ও সীমালঙ্ঘনের কাজে পরস্পরকে সহযোগিতা করো না। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, আল্লাহ শাস্তি দানে অত্যন্ত কঠোর। 5:2

حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ وَٱلدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦ وَٱلْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَٱلْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَٱلْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَٱلنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَآ أَكَلَ ٱلسَّبُعُ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى ٱلنُّصُبِ وَأَن تَسْتَقْسِمُوا۟ بِٱلْأَزْلَـٰمِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ ۗ ٱلْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن دِينِكُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَٱخْشَوْنِ ۚ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِى وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ ٱلْإِسْلَـٰمَ دِينًۭا ۚ فَمَنِ ٱضْطُرَّ فِى مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍۢ لِّإِثْمٍۢ ۙ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ ٣

Prohibited for you are: carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and those upon which (a name) other than that of Allah has been invoked (at the time of slaughter), animal killed by strangulation, or killed by a blow, or by a fall, or by goring, or that which is eaten by a beast unless you have properly slaughtered it; and that which has been slaughtered before the idols, and that you determine shares through the arrows. (All of) this is sin. Today those who disbelieve have lost all hope of (damaging) your faith. So, do not fear them, and fear Me. Today, I have perfected your religion for you, and have completed My blessing upon you, and chosen Islam as Dīn (religion and a way of life) for you. But whoever is compelled by extreme hunger, having no inclination towards sin, then Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful. তোমাদের জন্য হারাম করা হয়েছে মৃতজন্তু, (প্রবাহিত) রক্ত, শূকরের মাংস, আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে যবহকৃত পশু, আর শ্বাসরুদ্ধ হয়ে মৃত জন্তু, আঘাতে মৃত জন্তু, উপর থেকে পতনের ফলে মৃত, সংঘর্ষে মৃত আর হিংস্র জন্তুতে খাওয়া পশু- তবে জীবিত পেয়ে যা তোমরা যবহ করতে পেরেছ তা বাদে, আর যা কোন আস্তানায় (বা বেদীতে) যবহ করা হয়েছে, আর জুয়ার তীর দ্বারা ভাগ্য নির্ণয় করা (এগুলো তোমাদের জন্য হারাম করা হয়েছে)। এসবগুলো পাপ কাজ। আজ কাফিরগণ তোমাদের দ্বীনের বিরোধিতা করার ব্যাপারে পুরোপুরি নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে, কাজেই তাদেরকে ভয় করো না, কেবল আমাকেই ভয় কর। আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের দ্বীনকে পূর্ণাঙ্গ করে দিলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার নিআমাত পূর্ণ করে দিলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের দ্বীন হিসেবে কবূল করে নিলাম। তবে কেউ পাপ করার প্রবণতা ব্যতীত ক্ষুধার জ্বালায় (নিষিদ্ধ বস্তু খেতে) বাধ্য হলে আল্লাহ বড়ই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু। 5:3

ٱلْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتُ ۖ وَطَعَامُ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ حِلٌّۭ لَّكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّۭ لَّهُمْ ۖ وَٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ وَٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَآ ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَـٰفِحِينَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِىٓ أَخْدَانٍۢ ۗ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُۥ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ ٥

This day, good things have been made lawful for you. The food of the people of the Book is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them, and good women from among believers, and good women from among those who were given the Book before you, provided you give them their dowers, binding yourself in marriage, neither going for lust, nor having paramours. Whoever rejects Faith, his effort will go to waste and, in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers. আজ তোমাদের জন্য যাবতীয় ভাল ও পবিত্র বস্তু হালাল করা হল আর যাদেরকে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাদের খাদ্য তোমাদের জন্য হালাল, আর তোমাদের খাদ্য তাদের জন্য হালাল, সচ্চরিত্রা মু’মিন নারী এবং তোমাদের পূর্বে যাদেরকে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাদের সচ্চরিত্রা নারী তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করা হল যখন তোমরা তাদেরকে মোহরানা প্রদান কর, বিবাহের দূর্গে স্থান দানের উদ্দেশ্যে, ব্যভিচারী হিসেবে নয় এবং গোপন সঙ্গী গ্রহণকারী হিসেবে নয়। কেউ ঈমান অমান্য করলে, তার কার্যাদি নিষ্ফল হবে। আর সে আখেরাতে ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে। 5:5

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ١٠

Those who disbelieve and deny Our signs – they are the people of the Fire. যারা কুফরী করে, আর আমার নিদর্শনাবলীকে অস্বীকার করে তারা হল জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী। 5:10

لَّقَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚ قُلْ فَمَن يَمْلِكُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا إِنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُهْلِكَ ٱلْمَسِيحَ ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا ۗ وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ ١٧

Certainly, infidels are those who say, “God is the MasīH, son of Maryam (Jesus son of Mary).” Say, “Who then has the power to do anything against Allah, if He wills to eliminate the MasīH son of Maryam and his mother and all those on earth?” Unto Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what lies between them. He creates what He wills. Allah is powerful over everything. তারা কুফরী করেছে যারা বলে মাসীহ্ ইবনে মারইয়ামই আল্লাহ। বল, মাসীহ ইবনে মারইয়াম, আর তার মা এবং পৃথিবীতে যারা আছে সকলকে ধ্বংস করতে চাইলে আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে কারো এতটুকু ক্ষমতা আছে কি? আসমানসমূহে আর পৃথিবীতে ও এদের মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে সব আল্লাহরই মালিকানাধীন। তিনি যা ইচ্ছে সৃষ্টি করেন। আল্লাহ্ সকল বিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান। 5:17

وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ نَحْنُ أَبْنَـٰٓؤُا۟ ٱللَّهِ وَأَحِبَّـٰٓؤُهُۥ ۚ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم ۖ بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌۭ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ۚ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ١٨

The Jews and the Christians say, “We are the sons of Allah and His favorite’s.” Say, “Why then would He punish you for your sins? In fact, you are just human, among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills.” Unto Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what lies between them, and unto Him is the return. ইয়াহূদী ও নাসারারা বলে, আমরা আল্লাহর পুত্র ও তাঁর প্রিয়পাত্র। বল, তাহলে তোমাদের পাপের জন্য আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে শাস্তি দেন কেন? বরং তিনি যাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমরা তাদের অন্তর্গত মানুষ, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছে ক্ষমা করেন, যাকে ইচ্ছে শাস্তি দেন, আকাশসমূহ ও পৃথিবী আর এদের মধ্যে যা আছে সবকিছুর সার্বভৌমত্ব আল্লাহরই জন্য, আর প্রত্যাবর্তন তাঁরই পানে। 5:18

مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَنَّهُۥ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًۢا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًۭا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَآ أَحْيَا ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًۭا ۚ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ ٣٢

For this reason, We decreed for the children of Isrā’īl that whoever kills a person not in retaliation for a person killed, nor (as a punishment) for spreading disorder on the earth, is as if he has killed the whole of humankind, and whoever saves the life of a person is as if he has saved the life of the whole of humankind. Certainly, Our messengers have come to them with clear signs. Then, after all that, many of them are there to commit excesses on the earth. এ কারণেই আমি বানী ইসরাঈলের জন্য বিধান দিয়েছিলাম যে, যে ব্যক্তি মানুষ হত্যা কিংবা যমীনে সন্ত্রাস সৃষ্টির কারণ ব্যতীত কাউকে হত্যা করবে সে যেন তামাম মানুষকেই হত্যা করল। আর যে মানুষের প্রাণ বাঁচালো, সে যেন তামাম মানুষকে বাঁচালো। তাদের কাছে আমার রসূলগণ সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ নিয়ে এসেছিল, এরপরও তাদের অধিকাংশই পৃথিবীতে বাড়াবাড়িই করেছিল। 5:32

إِنَّمَا جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُوٓا۟ أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوٓا۟ أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم مِّنْ خِلَـٰفٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْىٌۭ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ٣٣

Those who fight against Allah and His Messenger and run about trying to spread disorder on the earth, their punishment is no other than that they shall be killed, or be crucified, or their hands and legs be cut off from different sides, or they be kept away from the land (they live in). That is a humiliation for them in this world, and for them there is a great punishment in the Hereafter; যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করে আর যমীনে বিশৃঙ্খলা ছড়িয়ে বেড়ায় তাদের শাস্তি হল এই যে, তাদেরকে হত্যা করা হবে অথবা ক্রুশবিদ্ধ করা হবে অথবা তাদের হাত পা বিপরীত দিক থেকে কেটে ফেলা হবে, অথবা তাদেরকে দেশ থেকে নির্বাসিত করা হবে। এ হল তাদের জন্য দুনিয়াতে লাঞ্ছনা, আর তাদের জন্য আখেরাতে রয়েছে মহাশাস্তি। 5:33

وَٱلسَّارِقُ وَٱلسَّارِقَةُ فَٱقْطَعُوٓا۟ أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَـٰلًۭا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ ٣٨

As for a man or a woman who commits theft, cut off the hands of both to punish them for what they earned,-a deterrent punishment from Allah. Allah is Mighty, Wise. আর চোর ও চোরনী তাদের হাত কেটে দাও, তাদের কৃতকর্মের ফল স্বরূপ, আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি। আল্লাহ হলেন মহাপরাক্রান্ত, মহাবিজ্ঞানী। 5:38

۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلرَّسُولُ لَا يَحْزُنكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُسَـٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْكُفْرِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِن قُلُوبُهُمْ ۛ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ ۛ سَمَّـٰعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّـٰعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ ءَاخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ ۖ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلْكَلِمَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِۦ ۖ يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَـٰذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَٱحْذَرُوا۟ ۚ وَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ فِتْنَتَهُۥ فَلَن تَمْلِكَ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ ۚ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا خِزْىٌۭ ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ ٤١

O Messenger, those who race towards disbelief should not be a cause of grief for you, be they from those who say with their mouths, “We believe”, while their hearts do not believe, or from those who are (pronounced) Jews. They are listeners to the fallacy, listeners to other people who did not come to you. They distort the words after they had been properly placed. They say, “If you are given this, take it, and if you are not given this, then avoid it.” The one whom Allah wills to put to trial, you cannot do anything for him against Allah. They are the ones whose hearts Allah did not intend to purify. For them there is humiliation in this world, and for them there is a great punishment in the Hereafter. হে রসূল! কুফরীর ব্যাপারে তাদের প্রতিযোগিতা যেন তোমাকে দুঃখ না দেয়, যারা মুখে বলে ঈমান এনেছি কিন্তু তাদের অন্তর ঈমান আনেনি। আর যারা ইয়াহূদী, তারা মিথ্যা কথা শুনতে বিশেষ পারদর্শী, তারা তোমার কথাগুলো অন্য সম্প্রদায়ের স্বার্থে কান পেতে শোনে যারা তোমার নিকট (কখনো) আসেনি, এরা আল্লাহর কিতাবের শব্দগুলোকে প্রকৃত অর্থ হতে বিকৃত করে। তারা বলে, তোমরা এ রকম নির্দেশপ্রাপ্ত হলে মানবে, আর তা না হলে বর্জন করবে। বস্তুত আল্লাহই যাকে ফিতনায় ফেলতে চান, তার জন্য আল্লাহর কাছে তোমার কিছুই করার নেই। ওরা হল সেই লোক, যাদের অন্তরাত্মাকে আল্লাহ পবিত্র করতে চান না। তাদের জন্য দুনিয়াতে আছে লাঞ্ছনা, আর তাদের জন্য আখেরাতে আছে মহা শাস্তি। 5:41

سَمَّـٰعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّـٰلُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ ۚ فَإِن جَآءُوكَ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ ۖ وَإِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ ٤٢

They are listeners to the fallacy, devourers of the unlawful. So, if they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they can do you no harm. But if you judge, judge between them with justice. Surely, Allah loves those who do justice. তারা বেশিবেশি মিথ্যে শুনতে আগ্রহী, হারাম ভক্ষণকারী, তারা যদি তোমার কাছে আসে তাহলে (ইচ্ছে হলে) তাদের বিবাদ নিস্পত্তি কর নতুবা অস্বীকার কর। অস্বীকার করলে তারা তোমার কোনই ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। যদি বিচার ফায়সালা কর তাহলে ইনসাফের সাথে তাদের বিচার ফায়সালা কর, আল্লাহ্ ন্যায়পরায়ণদেরকে ভালবাসেন। 5:42

إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَا ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ فِيهَا هُدًۭى وَنُورٌۭ ۚ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ وَٱلرَّبَّـٰنِيُّونَ وَٱلْأَحْبَارُ بِمَا ٱسْتُحْفِظُوا۟ مِن كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَآءَ ۚ فَلَا تَخْشَوُا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ وَٱخْشَوْنِ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِى ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ ٤٤

Surely We have sent down the Torah, in which there was guidance and light by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah, used to judge for the Jews, and (so did) the Men of Allah and the Men of knowledge, because they were ordained to protect the Book of Allah, and they stood guard over it. So, (O Jews of today,) do not fear people. Fear Me, and do not take a paltry price for My verses. Those who do not judge according to what Allah has sent down are the disbelievers. আমি তাওরাত অবতীর্ণ করেছিলাম, তাতে ছিল সঠিক পথের দিশা ও আলো। অনুগত নাবীগণ এর দ্বারা ইয়াহূদীদেরকে ফায়সালা দিত। দরবেশ ও আলিমরাও (তাই করত) কারণ তাদেরকে আল্লাহর কিতাবের রক্ষক করা হয়েছিল আর তারা ছিল এর সাক্ষী। কাজেই মানুষকে ভয় করো না, আমাকেই ভয় কর, আর আমার আয়াতকে নগণ্য মূল্যে বিক্রয় করো না। আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন, সে অনুযায়ী যারা বিচার ফায়সালা করে না তারাই কাফির। 5:44

وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَآ أَنَّ ٱلنَّفْسَ بِٱلنَّفْسِ وَٱلْعَيْنَ بِٱلْعَيْنِ وَٱلْأَنفَ بِٱلْأَنفِ وَٱلْأُذُنَ بِٱلْأُذُنِ وَٱلسِّنَّ بِٱلسِّنِّ وَٱلْجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٌۭ ۚ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌۭ لَّهُۥ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ٤٥

We prescribed for them therein: A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear and a tooth for a tooth; and for wounds, an equal retaliation. Then, if one forgives it, that will be expiation for him. Those who do not judge according to what Allah has sent down, they are the unjust.

আমি তাদের জন্য তাতে বিধান দিয়েছিলাম যে, জানের বদলে জান, চোখের বদলে চোখ, নাকের বদলে নাক, কানের বদলে কান, আর দাঁতের বদলে দাঁত। আর জখমের বদলে অনুরূপ জখম। কেউ ক্ষমা করে দিলে তাতে তারই পাপ মোচন হবে। আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন সে অনুযায়ী যারা বিচার ফায়সালা করে না তারাই যালিম। 5:45

وَلْيَحْكُمْ أَهْلُ ٱلْإِنجِيلِ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ ٤٧

And the people of the Injīl must judge according to what Allah has sent down therein. Those who do not judge according to what Allah has sent down, they are the sinners. ইঞ্জিলের অনুসারীগণ যেন আল্লাহ তাতে যে বিধান দিয়েছেন তদনুযায়ী বিচার ফয়সালা করে। আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন তদনুযায়ী যারা বিচার ফায়সালা করে না তারাই ফাসিক।5:47

وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ لِكُلٍّۢ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةًۭ وَمِنْهَاجًۭا ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ وَلَـٰكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِى مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۖ فَٱسْتَبِقُوا۟ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ ۚ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًۭا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ ٤٨

We have sent down to you the Book with truth, confirming the Book before it, and a protector for it. So, judge between them according to what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires against the truth that has come to you. For each of you We have made a law and a method. Had Allah willed, He would have made a single community of people, but (He did not), so that He may test you in what He has given to you. Strive, then, to excel each other in good deeds. To Allah is the return for all of you. Then Allah shall tell you about that in which you disputed. আর আমি সত্য বিধানসহ তোমার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করেছি যা পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবসমূহের সত্যায়নকারী ও সংরক্ষক। কাজেই মানুষদের মধ্যে বিচার ফায়সালা কর আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন তদনুসারে, আর তোমার কাছে যে সত্যবিধান এসেছে তা ছেড়ে দিয়ে তাদের খেয়াল খুশির অনুসরণ করো না। আমি তোমাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্য একটি শরীয়াত ও একটি কর্মপথ নির্ধারণ করেছি। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছে করলে তোমাদেরকে এক উম্মাত করতেন। কিন্তু তিনি তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন সেই ব্যাপারে তিনি তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করতে চান। কাজেই তোমরা সৎকর্মে অগ্রগামী হও, তোমাদের সকলের প্রত্যাবর্তন আল্লাহর দিকেই। অতঃপর তোমরা যে বিষয়ে মতভেদ করছিলে, সে সম্বন্ধে তিনি তোমাদেরকে অবহিত করবেন।5:48

وَأَنِ ٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ وَٱحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَنۢ بَعْضِ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَفَـٰسِقُونَ ٤٩

We order you to judge between them according to what Allah has sent down. Do not follow their desires, and beware of them, lest they should turn you away from some of what Allah has sent down to you. If they turn away, be assured that Allah intends to make them suffer for some of their sins. Surely, many of the people are sinners. আর তুমি তাদের মধ্যে বিচার ফয়সালা কর আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন তদনুযায়ী, তাদের খেয়াল খুশির অনুসরণ করবে না। আর তাদের থেকে সতর্ক থাক তারা যেন আল্লাহ তোমার প্রতি যা নাযিল করেছেন তার কোন কিছু থেকে তোমাকে ফেতনায় না ফেলতে পারে। যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে জেনে রেখ, আল্লাহ তাদের কোন কোন পাপের কারণে তাদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে চান, মানুষদের অধিকাংশই প্রকৃতপক্ষে সত্য ত্যাগী।5:49

۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ ٱلْيَهُودَ وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ٥١

O you who believe, do not take the Jews and the Christians for intimate friends. They are friends to each other. Whoever takes them as intimate friends is one of them. Surely, Allah does not take the unjust people to the right path. হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা ইয়াহূদ ও নাসারাদেরকে বন্ধু হিসেবে গ্রহণ করো না, তারা একে অপরের বন্ধু। তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ তাদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করলে সে তাদেরই অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে। আল্লাহ যালিমদেরকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন না।5:51

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَن يَرْتَدَّ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِۦ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِى ٱللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍۢ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُۥٓ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ يُجَـٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لَآئِمٍۢ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ ٥٤

O you who believe, if anyone from you turns back from his Faith, then Allah will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble toward the believers, hard on the disbelievers, who fight in the way of Allah and are not afraid of the reproach of any critic. That is a grace of Allah. He confers it on whom He wills. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমাদের মধ্য হতে কেউ তার দ্বীন হতে ফিরে গেলে সত্বর আল্লাহ এমন এক সম্প্রদায়কে নিয়ে আসবেন যাদেরকে তিনি ভালবাসেন আর তারাও তাঁকে ভালবাসবে, তারা মু’মিনদের প্রতি কোমল আর কাফিরদের প্রতি কঠোর হবে, তারা আল্লাহর পথে যুদ্ধ করবে, কোন নিন্দুকের নিন্দাকে তারা ভয় করবে না, এটা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ- যাকে ইচ্ছে তিনি দান করেন এবং আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যের অধিকারী, সর্বজ্ঞ।5:54

قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّۢ مِّن ذَٰلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ مَن لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْقِرَدَةَ وَٱلْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّۭ مَّكَانًۭا وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ٦٠

Say, “Shall I tell you about the ones whose retribution with Allah is worse than that (which you deem bad)? They are those whom Allah has subjected to His curse and to His wrath; and He has turned some of them into apes and swine, those who worshipped Tāghūt (Satan, the Rebel). Those are worse in their situation, and far more astray from the straight path.” বল, আমি তোমাদেরকে কি এর চেয়ে খারাপ কিছুর সংবাদ দেব যা আল্লাহর নিকট প্রতিদান হিসেবে আছে? (আর তা হল) যাকে আল্লাহ লা‘নাত করেছেন, যার উপর তিনি ক্রোধান্বিত হয়েছেন, যাদের কতককে তিনি বানর ও শুকরে পরিণত করেছেন আর যারা তাগুতের ‘ইবাদাত করেছে তারাই সবচেয়ে নিকৃষ্ট মানের লোক এবং সরল সত্য পথ হতে সবচেয়ে বিচ্যুত।5:60

وَتَرَىٰ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنْهُمْ يُسَـٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَأَكْلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحْتَ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٦٢

You will see many of them rushing towards sin and aggression, and (towards) devouring what is unlawful. Evil indeed is what they have been doing. তাদের অনেককেই তুমি পাপ, শত্রুতা আর হারাম ভক্ষণের প্রতিযোগিতায় ব্যস্ত দেখতে পাবে। তারা যা করে তা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট!5:62

لَوْلَا يَنْهَىٰهُمُ ٱلرَّبَّـٰنِيُّونَ وَٱلْأَحْبَارُ عَن قَوْلِهِمُ ٱلْإِثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحْتَ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْنَعُونَ ٦٣

Why do the Men of Allah and the Men of Knowledge not forbid them from saying what is sinful and devouring what is unlawful? Evil indeed is what they have been working. দরবেশ ও পুরোহিতগণ তাদেরকে পাপের কথা বলা হতে এবং হারাম ভক্ষণ থেকে নিষেধ করে না কেন? তারা যা করে তা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট!5:63

وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ يَدُ ٱللَّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ ۚ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُوا۟ بِمَا قَالُوا۟ ۘ بَلْ يَدَاهُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ ۚ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنْهُم مَّآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَـٰنًۭا وَكُفْرًۭا ۚ وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ ٱلْعَدَٰوَةَ وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ كُلَّمَآ أَوْقَدُوا۟ نَارًۭا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَسَادًۭا ۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ ٦٤

The Jews said, “Allah’s hand is fettered.” Fettered are their own hands, and cursed are they for what they said. In fact, His hands are outspread. He spends as He wills. What has been sent down to you from your Lord shall certainly increase many of them in rebellion and disbelief. We have put enmity and hatred amongst them lasting to the Day of Doom. Whenever they lit the flame of war, Allah puts it out. They run about on the earth spreading mischief, and Allah does not like the mischief-makers. ইয়াহূদীরা বলে, আল্লাহর হাত আবদ্ধ, তাদের হাতই আবদ্ধ, তাদের (প্রলাপ) উক্তির কারণে তারা হয়েছে অভিশপ্ত, বরং আল্লাহর উভয় হাত প্রসারিত, যেভাবে ইচ্ছে করেন দান করেন, তোমার প্রতিপালকের নিকট হতে তোমার নিকট যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে তা তাদের অনেকের সীমালঙ্ঘন ও কুফরী অবশ্য অবশ্যই বাড়িয়ে দিবে, আর ক্বিয়ামাত অবধি আমি তাদের পরস্পরের মধ্যে শত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সৃষ্টি করে দিয়েছি। যখনই তারা যুদ্ধের আগুন প্রজ্জ্বলিত করে, আল্লাহ তা নিভিয়ে দেন, আর তারা দুনিয়ায় ফাসাদ ছড়িয়ে বেড়ায়, আল্লাহ ফাসাদ সৃষ্টিকারীদের পছন্দ করেন না।5:64

وَحَسِبُوٓا۟ أَلَّا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌۭ فَعَمُوا۟ وَصَمُّوا۟ ثُمَّ تَابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُوا۟ وَصَمُّوا۟ كَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ ٧١

They thought that no harm would follow. Therefore, they became blind and deaf. Then, Allah accepted their repentance, but again they turned blind and deaf, many of them. Allah is watchful of what they do. তারা ভেবেছিল তাদের কোন বিপর্যয় হবে না এজন্য তারা অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে গিয়েছিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ক্ষমা দৃষ্টি করলেন। তারপর তাদের অনেকেই পুনরায় অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে গেল। তারা যা করে আল্লাহ তার সম্যক দ্রষ্টা।5:71

لَقَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ يَـٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبَّكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَىٰهُ ٱلنَّارُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍۢ ٧٢

Surely, disbelievers are those who say, “Allah is the MasīH, son of Maryam” while the MasīH had said, “O children of Isrā’īl , worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” In fact, whoever ascribes any partner to Allah, Allah has prohibited for him the Jannah (the Paradise), and his shelter is the Fire, and there will be no supporters for the unjust. তারা অবশ্যই কুফরী করেছে যারা বলে, মারইয়াম পুত্র মাসীহই হচ্ছেন আল্লাহ। মাসীহ তো বলেছিল, হে বানী ইসরাঈল! তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত কর যিনি আমার প্রতিপালক এবং তোমাদেরও প্রতিপালক। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সঙ্গে অংশীস্থাপন করে তার জন্য আল্লাহ অবশ্যই জান্নাত হারাম করে দিয়েছেন আর তার আবাস হল জাহান্নাম। যালিমদের জন্য কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।5:72

لَّقَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَـٰثَةٍۢ ۘ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَـٰهٍ إِلَّآ إِلَـٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ ۚ وَإِن لَّمْ يَنتَهُوا۟ عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ٧٣

Surely, disbelievers are those who say, “Allah is the third of the three” while there is no god but One God. If they do not desist from what they say, a painful punishment shall certainly befall such disbelievers. তারা অবশ্যই কুফরী করেছে যারা বলে আল্লাহ তিন জনের মধ্যে একজন, কারণ এক ইলাহ ছাড়া আর কোন সত্যিকার ইলাহ নেই। তারা যা বলছে তা থেকে তারা যদি নিবৃত্ত না হয়, তাহলে তাদের মধ্যে যারা কুফরী করেছে তাদেরকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব গ্রাস করবেই।5:73

قُلْ يَـٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَا تَغْلُوا۟ فِى دِينِكُمْ غَيْرَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَ قَوْمٍۢ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ وَأَضَلُّوا۟ كَثِيرًۭا وَضَلُّوا۟ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ٧٧

Say, O people of the Book, be not excessive in your religion unjustly, and do not follow the desires of a people who have already gone astray, misled many and lost the right path. বল, হে কিতাবধারীগণ! তোমরা তোমাদের দ্বীন সম্বন্ধে অন্যায়ভাবে বাড়াবাড়ি করো না, আর সেই সম্প্রদায়ের খেয়াল খুশির অনুসরণ করো না যারা ইতোপূর্বে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়ে গেছে, অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে আর সোজা পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে গেছে।5:77

كَانُوا۟ لَا يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَن مُّنكَرٍۢ فَعَلُوهُ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ ٧٩

They did not forbid each other from any evil they committed. Evil indeed is what they have been doing. তারা যে সব অসৎকর্ম করত তাত্থেকে একে অন্যকে নিষেধ করত না। তারা যা করত তা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট!5:79

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُحَرِّمُوا۟ طَيِّبَـٰتِ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ ٨٧

O you who believe, do not hold as unlawful the good things that Allah has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Verily, Allah does not like the transgressors. ওহে ঈমানদারগণ! পবিত্র বস্তুরাজি যা আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করে দিয়েছেন সেগুলোকে হারাম করে নিও না আর সীমালঙ্ঘন করো না, অবশ্যই আল্লাহ সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীদের ভালবাসেন না।5:87

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا ٱلْخَمْرُ وَٱلْمَيْسِرُ وَٱلْأَنصَابُ وَٱلْأَزْلَـٰمُ رِجْسٌۭ مِّنْ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ فَٱجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ٩٠

O you who believe! Wine, gambling, altars and divining arrows are filth, made up by Satan. Therefore, refrain from it, so that you may be successful. হে বিশ্বাসীগণ! মদ, জুয়া আর মূর্তী ও ভাগ্য নির্ধারক তীর ঘৃণিত শয়তানী কাজ, তোমরা তা বর্জন কর, যাতে তোমরা সাফল্যমন্ডিত হতে পার।5:90

إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ ٱلْعَدَٰوَةَ وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ فِى ٱلْخَمْرِ وَٱلْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَعَنِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ ٩١

Satan wishes only to plant enmity and malice between you through wine and gambling, and to prevent you from the remembrance of Allah and from Salāh. Would you, then, abstain? মদ আর জুয়ার মাধ্যমে শয়তান তো চায় তোমাদের মাঝে শত্রুতা আর বিদ্বেষ সৃষ্টি করতে, আল্লাহর স্মরণ আর নামায থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিতে। কাজেই তোমরা কি এসব থেকে বিরত থাকবে?5:91

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَقْتُلُوا۟ ٱلصَّيْدَ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌۭ ۚ وَمَن قَتَلَهُۥ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدًۭا فَجَزَآءٌۭ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ ٱلنَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِۦ ذَوَا عَدْلٍۢ مِّنكُمْ هَدْيًۢا بَـٰلِغَ ٱلْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّـٰرَةٌۭ طَعَامُ مَسَـٰكِينَ أَوْ عَدْلُ ذَٰلِكَ صِيَامًۭا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِۦ ۗ عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفَ ۚ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ ٱللَّهُ مِنْهُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌۭ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ ٩٥

O you who believe, do not kill game when you are in IHrām (state of consecration for Hajj or ‘Umrah). If someone from among you kills it deliberately, then compensation (will be required) from cattle equal to what one has killed, according to the judgement of two just men from among you, as an offering due to reach the Ka’bah, or an expiation, that is, to feed the poor, or its equal in fasts, so that he may taste the punishment of what he did. Allah has forgiven what has passed, but whoever does it again, Allah shall subject him to retribution. Allah is Mighty, Lord of Retribution. ওহে বিশ্বাসীগণ! ইহরাম অবস্থায় তোমরা শিকার হত্যা করো না। জেনে বুঝে তোমাদের কেউ তা হত্যা করলে তার বিনিময় হচ্ছে অনুরূপ গৃহপালিত জন্তু। যে ব্যাপারে তোমাদের মধ্যের ন্যায়পরায়ণ দু’জন লোক ফায়সালা করে দেবে, তা কা‘বাতে কুরবানীর জন্য পাঠাতে হবে। কিংবা তার কাফফারা হল কয়েকজন মিসকিনকে খাদ্য দান অথবা তদনুরূপ রোযা পালন, যেন সে স্বীয় কৃতকর্মের ফল ভোগ করে, পূর্বে যা হয়ে গেছে আল্লাহ তা ক্ষমা করেছেন; কেউ (পাপকাজ) পুনরায় করলে আল্লাহ তার নিকট হতে প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করবেন। আল্লাহ মহা পরাক্রমশালী, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণে পূর্ণ সক্ষম।5:95

أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ ٱلْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُۥ مَتَـٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ ۖ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ ٱلْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًۭا ۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ ٩٦

Made lawful for you is the game of the sea and eating thereof, as a benefit for you and for travellers. But the game of the land has been made unlawful for you as long as you are in the state of IHrām. Fear Allah (the One) towards Whom you are to be brought together. সমুদ্রের শিকার ও তা ভক্ষণ তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করা হয়েছে, তোমাদের আর সফরকারীদের ভোগের জন্য। ইহরাম অবস্থায় থাকা পর্যন্ত স্থলের শিকার তোমাদের জন্য হারাম করা হয়েছে। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর যাঁর কাছে তোমাদেরকে একত্রিত করা হবে।5:96

قُل لَّا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْخَبِيثُ وَٱلطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ ٱلْخَبِيثِ ۚ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَـٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ١٠٠

Say, “The evil and the good are not equal, even though the abundance of (what is) evil may attract you. So, fear Allah, O people of understanding, so that you may be successful.” বল, অপবিত্র আর পবিত্র সমান নয়, যদিও অপবিত্র বস্তুর প্রাচুর্য তোমাকে আকৃষ্ট করে। কাজেই হে জ্ঞানী সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হতে পার।5:100

مَا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَحِيرَةٍۢ وَلَا سَآئِبَةٍۢ وَلَا وَصِيلَةٍۢ وَلَا حَامٍۢ ۙ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ ۖ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ ١٠٣

Allah has made no BaHīrah, no Sā’ibah, no WaSīlah and no Hāmī (names of animals dedicated to idols on different grounds). But those who disbelieve coin a lie against Allah, and most of them do not understand. আল্লাহ না নির্দিষ্ট করেছেন বাহীরাহ্, না সাইবাহ্, না ওয়াসীলাহ্, না হাম বরং যারা কুফরী করেছে তারাই আল্লাহর নামে মিথ্যা আরোপ করে, তাঁদের অধিকাংশই নির্বোধ।5:103

ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتُوا۟ بِٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهَآ أَوْ يَخَافُوٓا۟ أَن تُرَدَّ أَيْمَـٰنٌۢ بَعْدَ أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ ۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ ١٠٨

Thus, it is more likely that the former people (i.e. the executors of the bequest) will bear witness in its proper way, or they will fear that oaths will be taken in rebuttal of their oaths. Fear Allah and listen. Allah does not lead sinning people to the right path. এ পন্থায় বেশি সম্ভাবনা আছে যে, লোকে ঠিকভাবে সাক্ষ্যদান করবে, কিংবা অন্ততঃপক্ষে তারা এ ভয় অবশ্যই করবে যে, তাদের কসম করার পর অপর কোন কসম দ্বারা তাদের প্রতিবাদ করা না হয়। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর আর শোন; আল্লাহ সত্য পরিত্যাগকারী সম্প্রদায়কে সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করেন না।5:108

قَالَ ٱللَّهُ إِنِّى مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنكُمْ فَإِنِّىٓ أُعَذِّبُهُۥ عَذَابًۭا لَّآ أُعَذِّبُهُۥٓ أَحَدًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ١١٥

Allah said, “I am going to send it down to you; but whoever among you disbelieves after that, I shall give him such a punishment as I shall not give to anyone else in all the worlds. ”আল্লাহ বললেন, আমি তোমাদের কাছে তা নাযিল করব, অতঃপর তোমাদের কেউ কুফরী করলে আমি তাকে এমনভাবে শাস্তি প্রদান করব, যে শাস্তি আমি বিশ্বজগতের কাউকে দেইনি।5:115
