بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ١

Allaah’s displeasure and sinful action Described in At-Tawbah

بَرَآءَةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَـٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ١

Here is a disavowal (proclaimed) by Allah and His Messenger against the Mushriks (polytheists) with whom you have a treaty. মুশরিকদের মধ্যেকার যাদের সঙ্গে তোমরা সন্ধিচুক্তি করেছিলে তাদের সাথে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের পক্ষ হতে সম্পর্কচ্ছেদের ঘোষণা দেয়া হল। 9:1

كَيْفَ وَإِن يَظْهَرُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا يَرْقُبُوا۟ فِيكُمْ إِلًّۭا وَلَا ذِمَّةًۭ ۚ يُرْضُونَكُم بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتَأْبَىٰ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ ٨

How (can they have a treaty) while if they overcome you, they will not observe any bond or treaty with you. They want to please you with (words of) their mouths, but their hearts refuse. Most of them are sinners. কীভাবে (চুক্তি থাকতে পারে) যদি তারা তোমাদেরকে পরাজিত করতে পারে তাহলে তারা তোমাদের সঙ্গে না আত্মীয়তার মর্যাদা দেয়, আর না ওয়াদা-অঙ্গীকারের; তারা তাদের মুখের কথায় তোমাদেরকে সন্তুষ্ট রাখতে চায় কিন্তু তাদের অন্তর তা অস্বীকার করে, তাদের অধিকাংশই সত্যত্যাগী অপরাধী। 9:8

ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٩

They have taken a paltry price for the verses of Allah, so they have prevented (people) from His path. Indeed, evil is what they have been doing. আল্লাহর আয়াতকে তারা (দুনিয়াবী স্বার্থে) অতি তুচ্ছ মূল্যে বিক্রি করে দিয়েছে, আল্লাহর পথে (মানুষদের চলার ক্ষেত্রে) প্রতিবন্ধকতা সৃষ্টি করেছে। তারা যা করে কতই না জঘন্য সে কাজ। 9:9

أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تُتْرَكُوا۟ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا رَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلِيجَةًۭ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ١٦

Do you think that you will be left alone (without being tested), while Allah has not yet seen those of you who struggle in Jihād and never take anyone as their confidant other than Allah and His Messenger and the believers? Allah is fully aware of what you do. তোমরা কি মনে কর যে, তোমাদেরকে এমনিই ছেড়ে দেয়া হবে যে পর্যন্ত আল্লাহ জেনে না নেবেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কারা তাঁর পথে জিহাদ করেছে, আর আল্লাহ, তাঁর রসূল ও মু’মিনদের ছাড়া অন্য কাউকে বন্ধু ও অভিভাবক হিসেবে গ্রহণ করেন নি? তোমরা যা কর সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহবিশেষভাবে অবহিত। 9:16

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ ءَابَآءَكُمْ وَإِخْوَٰنَكُمْ أَوْلِيَآءَ إِنِ ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ ٱلْكُفْرَ عَلَى ٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ٢٣

O you who believe, do not take your fathers and your brothers as your friends, if they prefer infidelity to Faith. Those of you who have friendship with them are the wrongdoers. হে বিশ্বাসীগণ! তোমরা তোমাদের পিতা আর ভাইদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না যদি তারা ঈমানের চেয়ে কুফরীকেই বেশি ভালবাসে। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা তাদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করে, তারাই যালিম। 9:23

قُلْ إِن كَانَ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ وَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُكُمْ وَعَشِيرَتُكُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلٌ ٱقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا وَتِجَـٰرَةٌۭ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسَـٰكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَهَآ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَجِهَادٍۢ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِىَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ ٢٤

Say, “If your fathers and your sons and your brothers and your spouses and your clan and the wealth you have earned and the trade you apprehend will recede and the homes you like are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and Jihād in His way, then, wait until Allah comes with His command. Allah does not lead the sinning people to the right path.” বল, ‘যদি তোমাদের পিতারা, আর তোমাদের সন্তানেরা, আর তোমাদের ভাইয়েরা, আর তোমাদের স্ত্রীরা, আর তোমাদের গোষ্ঠীর লোকেরা আর ধন-সম্পদ যা তোমরা অর্জন করেছ, আর ব্যবসা তোমরা যার মন্দার ভয় কর, আর বাসস্থান যা তোমরা ভালবাস (এসব) যদি তোমাদের নিকট প্রিয়তর হয় আল্লাহ, তাঁর রসূল ও তাঁর পথে জিহাদ করা হতে, তাহলে অপেক্ষা কর যতক্ষণ না আল্লাহ তাঁর চূড়ান্ত ফয়সালা তোমাদের কাছে নিয়ে আসেন।’ আর আল্লাহ অবাধ্য আচরণকারীদেরকে সঠিক পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না। 9:24

قَـٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَلَا يَدِينُونَ دِينَ ٱلْحَقِّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ حَتَّىٰ يُعْطُوا۟ ٱلْجِزْيَةَ عَن يَدٍۢ وَهُمْ صَـٰغِرُونَ ٢٩

Fight those People of the Book who do not believe in Allah, nor in the Last Day, and do not take as unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have declared as unlawful, and do not profess the Faith of Truth; (fight them) until they pay jizyah with their own hands while they are subdued. যাদেরকে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাদের মধ্যে যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান আনে না, আর শেষ দিনের প্রতিও না, আর আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল যা হারাম করেছেন তাকে হারাম গণ্য করে না, আর সত্য দ্বীনকে নিজেদের দ্বীন হিসেবে গ্রহণ করে না তাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কর যে পর্যন্ত না তারা বশ্যতা সহকারে স্বেচ্ছায় ট্যাক্স দেয়। 9:29

وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ٱبْنُ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَى ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ ٱللَّهِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ قَوْلُهُم بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ ۖ يُضَـٰهِـُٔونَ قَوْلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ قَـٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۚ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ ٣٠

The Jews say, “ ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the Son of Allah” and the Christians say, “MasīH (the Christ) is the Son of Allah.” That is their oral statement. They imitate the saying of the earlier disbelievers. May Allah ruin them, how far they are turned back from the truth!

ইয়াহূদীরা বলে, ‘উযায়র আল্লাহর পুত্র। আর নাসারারা বলে, ‘মাসীহ আল্লাহর পুত্র। এসব তাদের মুখের কথা। এতে তারা তাদের পূর্বেকার কাফিরদের কথারই অনুকরণ করে। আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করুন! কেমনভাবে তারা সত্য পথ থেকে দূরে ছিটকে পড়েছে। 9:30

۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْبَارِ وَٱلرُّهْبَانِ لَيَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَٰلَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ ٱلذَّهَبَ وَٱلْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَهَا فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍۢ ٣٤

O you who believe, many of the rabbis and the monks do eat up the wealth of the people by false means and prevent (them) from the way of Allah. As for those who accumulate gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah, give them the ‘good’ news of a painful punishment, হে বিশ্বাসীগণ! অবশ্যই ‘আলিম ও দরবেশদের অনেকেই ভুয়ো কর্মকান্ডের মাধ্যমে মানুষদের সম্পদ গ্রাস করে থাকে আর আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে। যারা স্বর্ণ ও রৌপ্য জমা করে আর আল্লাহর পথে তা ব্যয় করে না তাদেরকে ভয়াবহ শাস্তির সুসংবাদ দাও। 9:34

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا مِنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ ٣٨

O you who believe, what is wrong with you that when it is said to you, “Come out in the way of Allah,” you turn heavy (and cling) to the ground. Have you become happy with the worldly life instead of the Hereafter? So, (remember that) the enjoyment of the worldly life is but trivial in (comparison with) the Hereafter. হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমাদের হয়েছে কী যে, যখন তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে বের হওয়ার নির্দেশ দেয়া হয় তখন তোমরা আরো জোরে মাটি কামড়ে ধর। তোমরা কি আখেরাতের স্থলে দুনিয়ার জীবনকেই বেশি পছন্দ কর? আখেরাতের তুলনায় পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ সামগ্রী তো অতি সামান্য। 9:38

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَـٰتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كَـٰرِهُونَ ٥٤

Nothing has prevented their spending from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger, and they do not come to the Salāh but lazily, and do not spend but without volition. তাদের কাছ থেকে অর্থ সাহায্য গ্রহণ নিষিদ্ধ করার কারণ এ ছাড়া আর কিছু নয় যে তারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলকে অস্বীকার করে, সলাতে আসলে আসে শৈথিল্যভরে আর দান করলেও করে অনিচ্ছা নিয়ে।

فَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ ٥٥

So, their wealth and their children should not attract you. In fact, Allah intends to punish them with these in this lowly life and that their souls should depart while they are disbelievers. কাজেই তাদের ধন-সম্পত্তি আর সন্তান-সন্ততি যেন তোমার চোখ ধাঁধিয়ে না দেয়, ওসব দিয়েই আল্লাহ দুনিয়াতে ওদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে চান আর কাফির অবস্থাতেই যেন তাদের জান বাহির হয়। (9:54-9:55)

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِى ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُوا۟ مِنْهَا رَضُوا۟ وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْا۟ مِنْهَآ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ ٥٨

And among them there are those who find fault with you in (the distribution of) Sadaqāt (alms). So, if they are given something out of it, they are quite happy, and if they are given nothing from it, they at once get annoyed. তাদের মধ্যে এমন লোক আছে যারা সদাক্বাহ (বণ্টনের) ব্যাপারে তোমার প্রতি দোষারোপ করে, তাত্থেকে দেয়া হলে খুশি হয়, আর তাত্থেকে না দেয়া হলে সাথে সাথে ক্ষুব্ধ হয়ে পড়ে। 9:58

وَمِنْهُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ ٱلنَّبِىَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٌۭ ۚ قُلْ أُذُنُ خَيْرٍۢ لَّكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ ٦١

And among them (the hypocrites) there are those who hurt the Prophet and say, “He is just an ear” (that is, he hears and believes everything). Say, “He gives ear to that which is good for you; he believes in Allah and trusts the believers and is a mercy for those of you who (pretend to) believe.” And those who hurt the Messenger of Allah, for them there is a painful punishment. তাদের মাঝে এমন লোকও আছে যারা নাবীকে কষ্ট দেয় আর বলে তিনি কান কথা শুনেন। বল, ‘তোমাদের যাতে ভালো আছে সে তাই শোনে’। সে আল্লাহয় বিশ্বাস রাখে, আর মু’মিনদেরকেও বিশ্বাস করে, আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ঈমান এনেছে তাদের জন্য রহমত। অপরপক্ষে আল্লাহর রসূলকে যারা কষ্ট দেয় তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ভয়াবহ ‘আযাব। 9:61

أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ مَن يُحَادِدِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَأَنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدًۭا فِيهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْخِزْىُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٦٣

Have they not come to know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger, definite for him is the fire of Jahannam (Hell) wherein he will remain forever. That is the extreme disgrace. তারা কি জানে না যে, যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের বিরোধিতা করে তার জন্য আছে জাহান্নামের আগুন যেখানে সে হবে চিরস্থায়ী? আর এটা খুবই লাঞ্ছনার ব্যাপার। 9:63

ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُ بَعْضُهُم مِّنۢ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَقْبِضُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ ۚ نَسُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ ٦٧

The hypocrites, males and females, are all alike. They bid vice and forbid virtue and withhold their hands (from spending in Allah’s way). They forgot Allah, so He forgot them. Surely, the hypocrites are the sinners. মুনাফিক পুরুষ আর মুনাফিক নারী সব এক রকম, তারা অন্যায় কাজের নির্দেশ দেয় আর সৎ কাজ করতে নিষেধ করে, (আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করার ব্যাপারে) হাত গুটিয়ে রাখে, তারা আল্লাহকে ভুলে গেছে, তাই তিনিও তাদেরকে ভুলে গেছেন। মুনাফিকরাই তো ফাসিক। 9:67

ٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةًۭ فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ ٨٠

(It is all equal whether you) ask pardon for them or do not ask pardon for them. Even if you ask pardon for them seventy times, Allah will never pardon them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger. Allah does not lead the sinning people to the right path. তুমি তাদের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর বা না কর (উভয়ই সমান), তুমি তাদের জন্য সত্তর বার ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করলেও আল্লাহ কক্ষনো তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন না। এটা এজন্য যে, তারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের সাথে কুফুরী করেছে। আর আল্লাহ ফাসিক লোকদেরকে সঠিক পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না। 9:80

وَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَأَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ ٨٥

Their wealth and children should not attract you. Allah only wills to punish them with these in this world and that their souls depart while they are disbelievers. তাদের মালধন আর সন্তান-সন্ততি তোমার যেন চোখ ধাঁধিয়ে না দেয়, দুনিয়াতে আল্লাহ সে সব দিয়েই তাদেরকে শাস্তি দেয়ার ইচ্ছে করেন আর কাফির অবস্থায় যেন তাদের প্রাণবায়ু নির্গত হয়। 9:85

۞ إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَـْٔذِنُونَكَ وَهُمْ أَغْنِيَآءُ ۚ رَضُوا۟ بِأَن يَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٩٣

Blame lies, in fact, on those who ask you permission despite being rich. They are happy being with women who sit back. Allah has sealed their hearts; so they do not know. অভিযোগ তো তাদের বিরুদ্ধে যারা সম্পদশালী হওয়া সত্ত্বেও (যুদ্ধে যাওয়া হতে) তোমার কাছে অব্যাহতি প্রার্থনা করেছিল, যারা ঘরে বসা থাকা (স্ত্রী লোকদের) সঙ্গে থাকতেই পছন্দ করেছিল, আল্লাহ তাদের হৃদয়কে সীল করে দিয়েছেন আর এজন্য (কিসে নিজেদের কল্যাণ আছে আর কিসে অকল্যাণ) তা তারা জানে না। 9:93

يَعْتَذِرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُل لَّا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّأَنَا ٱللَّهُ مِنْ أَخْبَارِكُمْ ۚ وَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٩٤

They will make excuses to you when you return to them. Say, “Do not make excuses. We shall never believe you. Allah has told us the facts about you. Allah will see what you do, and His Messenger as well. Then you shall be returned to the Knower of the Seen and the Unseen, and He will tell you what you have been doing.” তোমরা তাদের কাছে (যুদ্ধ শেষে) ফিরে আসলে তারা তোমাদের কাছে ওজর পেশ করবে। বল- ওজর পেশ করো না, তোমাদেরকে আমরা কক্ষনো বিশ্বাস করব না। আল্লাহ তোমাদের খবর আমাদের কাছে জানিয়ে দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল অবশ্যই তোমাদের কাজকর্মের প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখবেন। অতঃপর দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্য সম্পর্কে যিনি জ্ঞাত তাঁর কাছে তোমাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে, অতঃপর তোমরা যা করতে সে সম্পর্কে তিনি তোমাদের জানিয়ে দিবেন। 9:94

وَمِنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًۭا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ ٱلدَّوَآئِرَ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَآئِرَةُ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ ٩٨

And among the Bedouins there are those who take what they spend as a fine, and they look forward to the cycles of time to turn against you. Upon those is the evil cycle. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. কতক বেদুঈন যা তারা আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করে তাকে জরিমানা বলে গণ্য করে আর তোমাদের দুঃখ মুসিবতের জন্য অপেক্ষা করতে থাকে, মন্দের চক্র তাদেরকেই ঘিরে ধরুক। আর আল্লাহ তো সব কিছুই শুনেন, সব কিছু জানেন। 9:98

وَءَاخَرُونَ ٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ خَلَطُوا۟ عَمَلًۭا صَـٰلِحًۭا وَءَاخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ ١٠٢

And there are others who admitted their sins while they had mixed a good deed with an evil one. It is likely that Allah will relent towards them. Surely, Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful. আর অন্য কতক লোক তাদের অপরাধ স্বীকার করেছে, তারা একটি সৎ কাজের সাথে আরেকটি মন্দ কাজকে মিশ্রিত করেছে, আশা করা যায় আল্লাহ তাদের তাওবা কবুল করবেন, অবশ্যই আল্লাহ অতি ক্ষমাশীল, অতীব দয়ালু। 9:102

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مَسْجِدًۭا ضِرَارًۭا وَكُفْرًۭا وَتَفْرِيقًۢا بَيْنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَإِرْصَادًۭا لِّمَنْ حَارَبَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ إِنْ أَرَدْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ ١٠٧

And (there are) those who have built a mosque to cause harm (to Islam) and to promote infidelity and to create dissention among the believers and to provide a station for one who has been at war with Allah and His Messenger even before. They will certainly swear (and say), “We intended to do nothing but good.” Allah testifies that they are liars আর যারা মাসজিদ তৈরী করেছে ক্ষতিসাধন, কুফুরী আর মু’মিনদের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যে, আর যে ব্যক্তি ইতোপূর্বে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করেছে তার ঘাঁটি হিসেবে ব্যবহারের নিমিত্তে, তারা অবশ্য অবশ্যই শপথ করবে যে, আমাদের উদ্দেশ্য সৎ ব্যতীত নয়। আল্লাহ সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছেন যে তারা অবশ্যই মিথ্যাবাদী। 9:107

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ فَزَادَتْهُمْ رِجْسًا إِلَىٰ رِجْسِهِمْ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ ١٢٥

As for those who have malady in their hearts, it adds further impurity to their (initial) impurity, and they die infidels. আর যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি আছে তাদের নাপাকীর উপর আরো নাপাকী বাড়িয়ে দেয় (প্রতিটি নতুন সূরা), আর তাদের মৃত্যু হয় কাফির অবস্থায়। 9:125
